I believe that life is lived in chapters. A series of events and times in our life that define who we become. I also believe that football is more exciting to watch than baseball, that I should loosen up and be less controlling, and that blue is my best color!
I created this blog to start to capture some of my chapters. Perhaps discover some things about myself along the way, and leave some insight as to who I am for my daughter and soon to be son as they get older and don't think that their mom understands anything that they are going through.
I've never blogged or tweeted in my life. I'm barely linked in and adding a photo to my collection of Facebook took an incredible amount of patience by my husband.
We are on the verge of an incredible new adventure in our family - a trip to China to bring home our new son, Kye. My hope is that I can easily share or at least capture some of the beginnings of this adventure through blogging - a social networking opportunity that all of our friends have access to. (Tim, I'll have you explain it to mom and dad! )
Sit back and enjoy the journey with us. Should this collection of chapters become a best-selling book someday (sooner rather than later, please!) then perhaps my life is more exciting than it feels at times!
